Waymond - first best step is to register on ClearanceJobs.com and get a resume posted immediately. Employers are using ClearanceJobs.com as a primary source of finding candidates for new defense industry contracts. Once you have a resume posted, start browsing jobs and applying to those that look relevant to your skills. Make sure to include on your resume when you are available and where you are willing to relocate to. Good luck

Good Day Sir or Ma'am:
I am currently in Japan and am seperating from the U.S. Navy in March of 2008.
I work in Naval Intelligence and have been depolyed to Iraq in July 2004 .My traininig has been in Operational Intelligence and Message Traffic Systems. I will be going back to the states and I am intersted in any job placements ,that require TS/SCI clearance, you may have in either Alanta , Georgia or Northern New Jersey. Also I am willing to work outside my professional area of knowledge if required. I would really like to know what opportunities are out there for me. Thank you for your time.

Nicholas - There aren't too many jobs in metro Atlanta that require clearance unfortunately. Lockheed has a good amount of business in Marietta, which is one option.

See http://www.clearancejobs.com/index.php?action=show_all&loc=10 for a number of open positions.

Good luck!
