I just received an SOR concerning financial concerns. I met with an investigator over a year ago. He asked me some questions about unpaid items on my credit report. I only recognized on item that was actually mine, and I have since paid this item. After meeting with the investor, I decided to pull my credit report only to find that there where over 16 inacuracies on my report including my name and address.
I began disputing the erroneous charges and they were in fact found to not belong to me. They were removed from my credit report and my report is now clean. I received an SOR on February 2, 2009 stating an intent to deny my clearce based on a credit report from 2006. How should I approached this? Should I mention that each of the items have been disputed and determined not mine and removed from my report.
The on delinquency that I had occurred during a 2 year unemployment period, but has been resolved. I am currently not past due on any of my obligations since my three year consistent employment. It really concerns me that I have been working on this DOD job for three years, and it has taken this long for them to send me an SOR. Why did they not run another report after so much time has elasped?
