Kroll Sells U.S. Government Security Clearance Business

Veritas Capital, a leading private equity firm, announced the acquisition of Kroll Government Services, Inc. from Kroll, Inc. Kroll Government Services, Inc. has been a leading provider of U.S. government security-clearance background investigations.

Kroll Government Services, Inc. has been renamed KeyPoint Government Solutions, Inc.

KeyPoint will continue to service U.S., state and local government customers including the Office of Personnel Management, the Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration, Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Justice, the US Coast Guard, the Army National Guard and the Los Angeles Police Department, among others.

KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently looking for Background Investigators.

    BW,
    Are you a full time investigator or just a contractor? I have been to the Kroll Government Services website before it became Keypoint and most of the background investigator positions I saw were contractor positions. How many FTE background investigators does Kroll have?

    Sorry, but I’m not really sure how many FTE’s there are, I do not believe there is alot though.

    Hopefully the get some help for you guys out there and clear up some backlog also.

    We have made huge strides across the board. We as Field Investigators have caught up and we are working current cases. If we get backlogged again, it will more than likely be because the adjudicators have been swamped. We are turning out alot of cases and they have a tough job trying to stay on top. Hopefully, there are enough adjudicators to handle the workload. I think the most important “Cog” in the wheel these days are the case review analysts and adjudicators.
